Centric offers Coop customers better service with new software

Gouda, 14 December - As of today, all 314 Coop supermarkets are equipped with Centric’s Omnichannel Retail Suite (ORS). This omnichannel point of sale platform ensures real-time, anywhere and secure access to sales transactions and other essential data. It lets Coop offer its customers the same shopping experience across all sales channels. With ORS, Coop can now also offer customers a care-free checkout process, both in stores and when ordering online for home delivery.

Everything under one roof

Centric supplied Coop with all the standard ORS components, including POS terminals, self-checkout terminals, PDAs with in-store services for age and shopping trolley checks, and a mobile POS for home delivery. The platform also interfaces with Coop’s SAP ERP system. Besides the software, Centric also provides the required peripherals and all the support services.
