At Centric, we see the protection of personal data as an important part of our business operations and services. By personal data we mean: any information that relates to an identified of identifiable natural person. The starting point for protecting personal data is compliance with European GDPR legislation.
Centric and privacy
At Centric, we see the protection of personal data as an important part of our business operations and services. Protecting this data is the basis of our reliability as a supplier and partner. Centric respects the privacy of its employees, its customers and prospects, the suppliers and all other Centric relations. Centric processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information will not be kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and will not be used for incompatible purposes. When processing personal data, Centric is critical in determining which personal data is necessary for the intended purpose of the processing. Centric chooses to only process the personal data that will least infringe the privacy of the data subject(s). Centric does not collect more personal data than necessary for the intended purposes of its processing.
Personal data is secured in an appropriate organizational and technical manner within Centric. Privacy is a guiding theme within information security policy. Centric also takes the “privacy by design” and “privacy by default” aspects into account when developing products and services.
Privacy organization
A governance structure has been set up within the Centric organization to ensure that privacy is given proper attention by management at all levels. A corporate Privacy Officer has been appointed who coordinates all matters related to privacy and monitors the application and compliance with the GDPR within Centric. The Privacy Officer also ensures that requests from data subjects are followed up within the set terms.
Privacy statement
All matters relating to privacy are detailed in an internal privacy policy. In addition, a privacy statement has been drawn up that has been published on Centric's website and is accessible to all Centric relations.
