Introduction
We are currently working on a traction inverter that controls asynchronous motors for electrical vehicles.
During the development of our high-power traction inverter, we choose to support asynchronous motors with quadruple encoders as the first goal.
Goal
The goal of the project is to develop and implement an effective method for the control strategy of PM synchronous motors in the Thrust | 200 making use of sensorless control techniques.
Your activities
- Investigation of control strategies for PM sync motors;
- Development of the chosen control strategy. Efficiency of the control is a key success factor;
- Develop the strategy for sensorless control for both async and synch motors
- Implement the sensorless control strategy in the DSP software, supported by Centric Automotive engineers,
- Test and report the results according test specifications
