Centric is introducing StoreWorld Mobile, a completely overhauled portfolio of mobile retail solutions. The portfolio – formerly known as StoreWorld Mobile Office – has been optimised and extended with innovative features aimed at improving day-to-day activities as well as efficiency in the shops.
StoreWorld Mobile currently offers twelve mobile and device-independent modules, including Ordering, Inventory, Delivery Control, Revalue & Repricing and Queue Busting. Modules can be purchased both collectively and individually.
Mike van der Hulst, Programme Manager at Centric says: “We are very proud of this new generation of mobile solutions. We have improved the look & feel and much work has been done on the interface with back-office systems. We can now truly say that we are back-office independent. The platform does not only integrate seamlessly with Centric back-offices but also with third-party back-end systems, including Microsoft Dynamics AX and customers’ proprietary systems.”
The new release also features a revamped user screen. “Modules are easy to use, intuitive and require little or no explanation. Synchronisation has also been simplified and a wider range of fully touch-based terminals is now supported,” says Van der Hulst.
Centric has announced plans to deploy the technology underlying StoreWorld Mobile in other industries as well, e.g. the wholesale sector.
