IT organisation Centric is opening an office in France. With this new office, Centric is taking the next step in its international growth strategy. Centric France will be run from Centric's Belgian subsidiary, Centric Belgium.
Centric Belgium's full portfolio of products and services will be made available on the French market, with a special focus on the niches of retail and supply chain.
By concentrating on the retail market, Centric is further fulfilling its ambition of providing the best possible support for the business processes of globally operating retail companies. Centric has the capability to automate the full retail chain from head office down to warehouse and point of sale, and enables its customers to access and utilise information in the most efficient way possible. Furthermore, Centric is very active in the fashion retail sector, and France is a real hot spot for this market, with many fashion retailers having their head office there.
As far as the supply chain is concerned, Centric shall initially concentrate on selling its Locus warehouse management system. A recently-struck partnership between Centric and Vandeputte, European market leader in detergents, is a big boost for Centric, as Vandeputte has a strong presence on the French market and can serve as a reference.
Luc Lammens, CEO of Centric Belgium explains, “We set great store by our customers having a local point of contact. On the one hand, we ensure that through partnerships, and on the other by setting up shop in other countries. Expanding into the French market is therefore a logical step for us.”
