Centric AEP

'ATLAS' for your business

Electronic customs declaration has been established as the normal procedure in Germany by law in the form of the minor Customs Code reform of 2005 (Zollkodexreform 2005 - VO 648/2005) and the associated regulation implementing the (Community) Customs Code (ZK-VDO). All businesses that import or export goods into or from the EU must handle customs declaration using the electronic procedure for 'ATLAS' (the German Automated Tariff Classification and Local Customs Clearance System) and require appropriately certified software for this. In practice, this leads to major changes in the area of export handling procedures.
